Hello and welcome! I am so happy that you have stopped by, that you’ve been drawn to finding out more and perhaps working with me.

It’s such a privilege to be able to combine my counselling with a holistic approach to your well-being, working with your mind, body and spirit. To walk alongside you. To work through your problems and guide and support you to live a meaningful, fulfilling and loving life. So that you become your life expert. So that you feel empowered. And you feel nourished to live your best life.

All parts of our being are connected

I believe all parts of our being are connected. If one part is out of alignment it will impact on another. For example, if you’re feeling mentally drained, stressed, burnt out or exhausted, this will have a physical impact on your body. Your body tells you through feelings what is going wrong, and when to slow down. Often we don’t listen, so we could experience headaches, aches, cramps, ulcers, tensions, back pain, tight shoulders, cold sores, and so on.

My healing approach

My approach is non-clinical and non-judgemental. I’m compassionate, loving and committed to supporting you on your healing journey. I love to integrate my therapeutic skills with Reiki to holistically promote your well-being. Getting to know you and your story is integral to the healing process, so we can work together in the best way for you, and you can live the experience of reaching wellness.

Personal growth and development

Through personal growth and development I’ve become the person I am today. Yes, I’ve had my own challenges. I’ve had hurt and pain. Overcoming these has made me stronger, and more resilient. And I’ve also had the courage to walk away from situations that were no longer serving me.I hope my life experiences, knowledge and personal growth, along with my spiritual perspective, empower you to go within to be the best version of yourself.

The Counselling path

In my early twenties, for many years I travelled across England, Asia, Egypt and Europe. I loved the different cultures and food that contrasted so much with the way we live in Australia. When I returned home, I was drawn to undergraduate studies in Counselling. I had an appetite for knowledge and learning and people’s behaviour that I found fascinating. After completing my studies, I worked in a local community that had a high number of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, with a high level of vulnerability. These people were extremely socially isolated. They experienced trauma and many presented with complex mental health issues. I was so privileged to be able to walk alongside these people, to hold hope and meaning in their lives – integrating theory into practice. I witnessed their courage and strength. I listened to their stories. And all along, I demonstrated compassion and empathy. Those experiences have stayed with me and provided me with a foundation and approach that is compassionate, loving and empathetic. Love. Peace. Joy.

Love.Peace.Joy xx
